The disability community has worked together tirelessly for more than a year to achieve health care reform. After health care reform nearly died several times, Congress revived it and it became law in March 2010. From any perspective, the final legislation is not perfect, but it will bring important improvements in health care coverage for people with spinal cord injuries and disorders and people with disabilities in general.
