1.2. Locating a Wheelchair Supplier- Medicare
Medicare.gov, the official U.S. government site for Medicare, offers the following Directory to locate Suppliers: Medicare Supplier Directory.
- The directory defaults to search within 10 miles of the zip code entered. Once you receive your search results, you may need to modify your search by expanding the mileage on the "Distance" field on the right side of the page.
- The supplier directory helps you find information about suppliers throughout the U.S. Although CMS and its contractors work hard to provide accurate and complete information, occasional errors may occur. Neither the U.S. Government nor CMS assumes any legal liability for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information, product, or process disclosed in the supplier directory, or represents that use of such information, product, or process wouldn’t infringe on privately owned rights.
- You can also select the "Medicare assignment" check box to show only suppliers who always accept the Medicare-approved amount as payment in full for all claims for the product category.
