Development and Ability Organization
The Development and Ability Organization (DAO) was founded in 2004 to develop advocacy and awareness activities and research for people with disability throughout Afghanistan. They empower men and women with disabilities in Afghanistan to achieve their human rights through peaceful means and to raise awareness of the issues facing people with disabilities among the people of Afghanistan. DAO intends to provide small size loans to persons with disabilities enabling them to support themselves and their families through the income they gained. DAO is also planning to provide vocational training for disabled persons.

Handicap International Afghanistan
In Afghanistan, where Handicap International has worked since 1987, the organization focuses on helping victims of landmines, preventing future mine accidents, and promoting disability-inclusive development. Currently, 159 Afghans and three expatriates carry out this mission.

Accessibility Organization for Afghan Disabled:
AOAD’s a non-governmental, nonprofits and non-political organization established by Person with Disability and working for persons with disabilities along with their immediate family members as a peer-supporter advocate agent of change organization, founded in 2007 in Kabul, Afghanistan.
